The Ford F150 is an amazing vehicle for many reasons, one of which is its good looks. The grille has a lot to do with it and putting on the Raptor grille on it can make it look even better. The Raptor grille is amazing not just for the aestheticism it brings, but also for its functionality. So, let’s say that you get the Raptor grille for a Ford F150.
The big question now is, how do you install it? Well, the grille is built specifically for the F150 so it can be fitted with everything lining up, bolt-to-bolt. All you need is a torque wrench, the know-how, and some dedication.
NOTE: If DIY work isn’t your style, then fret not; just ask your local autobody shop to do it for you.
How To Install the Raptor Grille for A Ford F150?
You can watch this video or follow the helpful steps laid out below. The only tools you’ll need (not necessarily) are a torque wrench and a trim tool.
Remove The Current Grille and Separator

Firstly, you’ll have to remove the trim piece below the headlights. Use the wrench to remove the 7-mm screws. Do this on both sides and just pop off the piece by pulling on it. This will help expose the 4 bolts (2 below each headlamp) that it was covering, we’ll get to those in a while.

Then we get to the trim piece above the headlights, right at the starting center of the hood. Remove all the fasteners holding it in place via a trim tool. Pull all of them out and this should allow you to remove the floppy trim piece. Now you have access to everything you need.

Remove the connections placed at the starting center of the hood. There is a line for the fluid that washes your camera (shown below). In order to remove it, you should hold it and press it enough to turn it circular in order to remove it. Now we remove the remaining bolts.
Remove the 4 10-mm bolts above and the 4 bolts below the first trim piece that you removed. Doing all of this will help you remove the original grille. After this, remove the separator attached to the current grille. Do this by taking out the bolts on it, any cables, and clips.
Add The Components from The Original Grille to The Raptor Grille
You can unwrap the Raptor grille for the F150. You may notice several differences between the Raptor grille and the original grille. Let’s say that you have a Platinum model of the F150. The Raptor grille won’t have connections for any fluid or any sort of camera connections, which are shown below.

You’ll have to remove the ones from your original grille and add them to the Raptor Grille. These parts have been fastened below the emblem and you’ll have to unfasten them from there. You can use a torque wrench to do so. These will fit right onto the Raptor grille.

Attach The Raptor Grille to The Separator
Now, once you’re done fitting the camera setup to the Raptor grille, it is now time to attach it to the separator. You just need to put the grille in place and then add the bolts that you originally removed fitting the previous grille to it. Just make sure to go easy on the fitting and not break anything.

Ensure that all the clips go into their rightful places. While the clips on the sides won’t index right now, they’ll do so when you fit this assembly onto the vehicle. The bolts shown on the right side of the blue clips will index though. If done perfectly, everything should line up just fine.

Also, it is imperative that the camera setup and its connections are incorporated properly. For instance, the fluid line and the camera plug shown below are to go through their proper holes. Try to do this properly since you’ve done a lot of effort swapping these parts.
Plus, you need to be extra careful while accommodating the camera plug. You have to pull it out through the right hole as shown below and attach the body clip properly. The clip will hold everything in place. Then you need to put on the white-colored tab shown below on it, at the very last.
Attach The Raptor Grille to Your F150
Put the grille on the F150 and put both the pieces of trim back on that you removed earlier. Put back all the cables where you removed them from. Ensure that the camera connections have been put back in place as well. Once all that’s done, screw/bolt everything back in place.

You should first ensure that everything lines up properly. Then you should count all the screws and bolts. There are 4 screws across the top and 2 bolts at the bottom corners where you removed the first piece of trim from. After everything’s been fastened properly, you can now enjoy your new Ford Raptor grille for the F150.
